My husband and I were very new to the home buying process. Prior to finding Tim Barker (our awesome real estate agent), we had another agent who recommended a loan mortgage company. We went through the entire process of getting a loan approved, and we were told that our closing costs would be over 10K. This seemed normal to my husband and me; we started to look for homes. By luck (or FATE), we came across Tim Barker when we were in the home search process. We told Tim about our situation, that would we would need 10K for closing costs. Tim immediately contacted his loan officer, Matt, who in turn called us and said there are VA loans that give credits back. Long story short. We ended up not having to pay for any closing costs whatsoever! This saved us 10,000 bucks. During the home buying process, Tim was outstanding. We ended up putting in offers for a couple of homes one of which, my husband and I call our "dream-home." Tim negotiated an outstanding deal. Throughout escrow, Tim kept us in the loop on how the transaction was going. Anytime I wanted to get a hold of Tim, he was always there! Even at 10PM. This guy doesn't sleep. :-) When I called and he didn't answer, I knew within a min I'd get a text from him that he would call me back.
